A Bit of Thanks....
....for all the well wishes! My calf seems to be doing much better. The massage helped, even though it hurt like crazy while she was kneading out the knots. (Sadly they weren't only in my calf, but they had worked there way into my hamstring, glutes all the way into my back). And my quads and IT band weren't in good shape either.
I could probably try to run again tomorrow, but because I'm going to spending 3 hours driving back to school and then I have a paper to write and a project to work on, I'm going to grant myself the day off. Training will resume Tuesday with cross-training in the pool and then running will pick up again on Wed.
As long as all goes well, I won't have lost too much training time.
P.S. My Phillies are having a dismal beginning of the seaon. I'm hoping they work out their pitching issues soon.
