Race goal: Get to the start line healthy
I'm not at all prepared for my 10K this weekend. I'm still kind of sort of sick. My head has cleared for the most part, but I've got something going on with my nose and throat and it's not a lot of fun.
Packet picket up is today. On my lunch break I'm going to hustle and grab my stuff because I still have high hopes that by Sunday I will be feeling well enough to run.
Right now, I could probably run the race, but it wouldn't be very fun and I think it would make me feel crappy. I'm looking to get better, not worse.
For now, my only race goal is that I make it to the starting line on Sunday and that I can finish the race and not still be sick.
Cross your fingers for me!

Sounds like you have a great mindset going in to this race. Remember, you GET to do the race, you don't HAVE to do it.

Rest up and flush fluids. OD on OJ. These are my methods for getting well fast. Good luck. Cheers!
