Happy National Running Day from the banks of the Mississippi River!



I'm down South this week for work, and have been spending some time exploring the city of Memphis by foot (because really there's no better way to see a city).

I spent the day yesterday walking all over downtown. I strolled down Beale Street, grabbed dinner at Rendezvous BBQ, saw the famous Duck March at the Peabody Hotel and even hauled an Uber to and from Graceland -- because I mean if you're in Memphis, how can you not go to Graceland?

This morning I ran down on the Riverwalk, a nice paved path that runs right along the Mississippi. I did five miles before heading back to my hotel to get ready for work-related stuff.

It was humid this morning, but the five miles didn't suck, which gives me hope for the Baltimore 10-Miler this weekend!
